Please can you confirm what the length of the screw is so I can ensure it fits through the wardrobe door that I am fixing it to.

Thanks for your question.
This is a rim door knob set rather than a cupboard/wardrobe knob, so it does not fix through the door with a single long screw. The knobs operate using a spindle through the door, with the roses screw-fixed to the face of the door.
For a wardrobe door, we would recommend using a cupboard knob designed for a through-bolt fixing.
