The Kirkpatrick Locking Casement Fastener 1166 is a traditional window fitting from Kirkpatrick’s antique ironmongery collection, available in separate left and right hand versions.
A small Allen key lock is integrated into the handle to provide a locking function. The design is faithfully reproduced by hand using traditional English blacksmithing methods.

Kirkpatrick Locking Casement Fastener 1166. I’m interested in purchasing these but I have had trouble with previous cast iron ones snapping. What kind of guarantee do these come with please and are they as strong as you say?

Please note that the warranty covers the malleable iron castings which form our products. Items such as springs and screws which are not manufactured by ourselves are not covered by a Lifetime Guarantee. The same applies to paint and coatings which can break down with use to give a unique patina."
