Kirkpatrick Gravity Door Catch

Description

The Kirkpatrick Gravity Door Catch has a beautifully simple traditional form with a plain smooth black finish, making it a practical addition to restoration schemes and interiors using Black Antique ironmongery.

Its automatic action uses two components: the hook plate is mounted to the wall, while the catch plate is fixed to the inside of the door. As the door opens, the hook is pushed upwards before dropping back down to latch into place.

The fitting forms part of Kirkpatrick’s Black Antique product range. Kirkpatrick Ltd has produced malleable ironmongery at its Walsall foundry since 1855.
