Description
The Piano Hinge is also known as a Continuous Hinge. As these hinges are designed to to run the entire length of the door, panel or box, giving them a multi-purpose use suitable for hinged Piano Lids, Tool Boxes and Toy Boxes etc.
Supplied by quality, UK-based manufacturer Carlisle Brass in Electroplated Brass in lengths of 1829mm and either 25mm / 32mm / 38mm widths.
Minimum order is 10 lengths of a product - no screws included.

Hi...are width dimensions each leaf closed or fully open at 180 degrees?....I need a piano hinge to attached to 18mm plywood for a storage seat. Can you help?

Thanks for your question.
The 25mm, 32mm and 38mm sizes refer to the overall width of the hinge when it is fully open at 180°. So, for example, the 32mm version is approximately 16mm per leaf.
For fixing to 18mm plywood, the 32mm or 38mm version would generally give you a suitable leaf width, depending on how much fixing area you want.
